Michelangelo statue of David, Florence Galleria dell’Accademia, Italy

David is a reinaissance statue by worldwidely known artist Michelangela Buonarottiho made between 1501 and 1506. The statue shows biblical character David right before the fight with a giant warrior Goliath. After finishing the statue was placed in front of the Florence townhall, but at the moment the original David can be seen in Florence Academy.
